Hiking in Silver Valley, Idaho

Through the entire Silver Valley, there are endless hiking options. Local favorites include strolling along the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and exploring Idaho Panhandle National Forests. Wander along streams, lakes, tree groves, meadows, and peaks. 

The Pulaski Tunnel Trail

A few minutes outside of Wallace, the historic and scenic Pulaski Tunnel Trail traces the route Ed Pulaski and his crew took to survive the Great Fire of 1910. The current trail is lush and green, hiding much of the fire's evidence. This moderately difficult trail leads to a scenic overlook, and along the way historical markers tell the story.

Hiking near Lookout Pass
